Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain

Get ready for an early start – adventure awaits! Between 3:40 and 4:00 AM, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco and begin our exciting 2-hour journey towards Cusipata. We will make a strategic stop in the picturesque town of Cusipata. Here, we’ll recharge with a delicious breakfast to prepare us for the hike. After about an hour and a half drive, we will arrive at the starting point of our unforgettable 2-hour hike towards the majestic Rainbow Mountain.

During the hike, we will witness spectacular Andean landscapes adorned with towering mountains and snow-capped peaks. Keep an eye out for llamas and alpacas grazing in their natural habitat! Upon reaching the summit, you will have free time to marvel at the mountain’s unique color palette, take photos, and simply enjoy this gift of nature.

After enjoying the panoramic views, we will begin the one-hour descent back to where our transport awaits to take us back to Cusipata. Here, we will enjoy a varied and comforting buffet lunch. Finally, a 2-hour trip back to the city of Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco in the late afternoon, around 5:30 PM. Our tour will conclude near the iconic Plaza de Armas, in the heart of the Historic Center.
