Establishes the Terms and Conditions that govern the contractual relationship between you and ALCCA TRAVEL for the contracted tourism services.
Contracted Services
All reservations made through our website or directly at our Cusco office are processed in either U.S. dollars or Peruvian soles. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Responsibilities
ALCCA TRAVEL is not responsible for expenses arising from external situations such as adverse weather conditions, natural phenomena, or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover these unforeseen circumstances.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel itineraries based on events beyond our control. Cancellations or unused services are non-refundable. While we strive to offer a safe and pleasant service, we are not liable for losses, damages, or delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reach, including force majeure events..
Travel insurance
All travelers must have comprehensive travel insurance. This insurance typically covers losses due to cancellation or loss of deposit. We reiterate that no refunds are offered for cancellations or unused services.
Although ALCCA TRAVEL strives to ensure your well-being with precautions and qualified staff, we strongly advise purchasing travel insurance for your protection.
Health and physical fitness
For your well-being and safety, we ask that you inform ALCCA TRAVEL of any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies. It is essential that participants are in good physical health. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor. Guests 70 years of age or older must provide a medical certificate from their treating physician.
Please remember that it is your sole responsibility to assess if you are fit to undertake this tour, including consulting a doctor about your suitability for travel, necessary vaccinations, and relevant medical precautions. We do not offer medical advisory services.
ALCCA TRAVEL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of the tour at any time if it believes your physical or mental condition compromises your ability to travel or poses a risk to your safety or that of others.
Privacy
Safeguarding your privacy is our commitment at ALCCA TRAVEL. Your data will only be shared with essential public or private entities to properly manage your contracted services.
Payment Methods
Accept payments from international clients via credit/debit cards, PayPal, or Western Union transfers. Peruvian and other Latin American customers can pay by bank transfer (BCP, Interbank) or through digital wallets like Yape and Plin.
Please note that card transactions incur a 5% surcharge, while PayPal payments carry an 8% additional fee. For outstanding payments, we suggest settling in cash at least two days before your trip, without any extra charges.
Cancellation Policy
The client agrees to the cancellation policy, which includes financial penalties that vary based on the notification period
Terms of Service
Cancellations by the Client for Half-Day and Full-Day Tours in Cusco (Sacred Valley and Cusco Tours)
- For programs not necessitating the acquisition of Machu Picchu tickets, complimentary cancellation is available up to 48 hours before departure.
- A $10 fee will be assessed for any tour date changes made within 48 hours of your scheduled departure.
- You can receive a 80% refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of your trip’s departure.
- In the event of a same-day cancellation, a 100% penalty of the trip’s value will be applied.
Client-Initiated Cancellation for Tour with ticket to Machu Picchu and ticket to Inca Trail
- Confirming a reservation means any cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
- Canceling tours to Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail after departure is confirmed will result in no refund due to their rigid nature and the advance purchase of tickets.
